AEW Worlds End 2025 went down at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. This was AEW’s final show of the year, and the women’s division took a big showcase.
The AEW Women’s World Championship will be on the line as Kris Statlander defends her title against Jamie Hayter.
This was a hard-hitting match, where both competitors wanted to prove that they deserve to be on top of the mountain in AEW. Naturally, neither one of them backed down from this stiff match-up.
The fans were split down the middle throughout most of this match. Fans cheered them on as the match proceeded. Bryan Danielson also sat in on commentary during this match to help break things down, and he commented on how Hayter was getting the best of Statlander near the end.
After nailing a superplex, Kris Statlander kicked out at two. At one point, Stalander hit Hayter with a devastating move off the tope rope, but she didn’t pin. Instead, Hayter blocked her and nailed a shining wizard for a near fall.
This hard-hitting match continued with one reversal after another. They had an answer to each move that the other threw at them. Fans were chanting for them to “fight forever” by the time things were over.
At one point, Statlander spat in Hayter’s face, but then Hayter nailed Statlander’s own finisher on her, but she couldn’t get to the pinfall. In the end, Kris Statlander was able to drive Hayter down for the pinfall to retain the AEW Women’s World Title.
