Killer Kross isn’t holding back when it comes to comparisons between himself and Scarlett and the current act involving Aleister Black and Zelina Vega.
Fans online have been speculating that Black and Vega’s eerie aesthetic is ripped straight from the Kross & Scarlett playbook—and now Kross is finally addressing the chatter.
During a recent appearance on on Keepin’ it 100, the former WWE Star was asked point blank if he sees the similarities and what he makes of people accusing Vega of “cosplaying Scarlett.” While he didn’t deny the resemblance, Kross took the high road and delivered a message loaded with respect—and subtle shade. He first made it clear he’s not the kind of guy to force opinions on anyone.
“This is all I could say. I can’t tell people how to feel about what they’re seeing and what they want to say. And actually, if you’re not tone-deaf and you’re paying attention to everybody in the world, people are tired of being told how to feel about what they see and hear.”
Kross added that he’s grown tired of opinion shows trying to shape public perception and made it clear he’d never become that kind of voice.
“I stopped watching a lot of opinion piece shows ’cause I have a brain. I can think and see. I don’t need to be told what to think and see about stuff. So I won’t do that ’cause I’m going to be a hypocrite.”
Instead of throwing any shade, Kross made it clear he’s flattered that people are even having the conversation.
“Scarlett and I are very flattered that we’re still a subject of conversation among people online and fans in wrestling because let’s face it, we’re not in the biggest show on the planet. So, when this stuff comes up, we’re flattered, bro.”
He even offered a possible explanation—one that removes personal blame from Black and Vega entirely.
“You never really know if that’s the performers doing that or that is something they’re being asked to do. So I can’t throw shade.”
Kross stayed true to form—calm, controlled, and classy. But for those looking closely, the message was loud and clear: he sees the similarities, he hears the comparisons, and while he won’t take a cheap shot, he’s definitely aware of what’s going on. Killer Kross might not be in WWE right now, but fans clearly haven’t forgotten who did the dark duo thing first.
