Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn once again reignited their feud after Owens took out Zayn with a package piledriver earlier this month. It ultimately led to WWE booking a huge match between Zayn and Owens on the February 17th Raw but it appears Owens was absent from the show despite being advertised.

While speaking on Fightful’s post-RAW show, Sean Ross Sapp talked about Sami Zayn’s segment during the February 17th edition of Monday Night Raw. Sapp noted that Kevin Owens was supposed to be on the show as he was advertised for it, saying, “Kevin Owens was supposed to be on this show. He was advertised for it.” However, Owens was obviously absent from this week’s show.

Sami Zayn opened RAW this week by talking about his history with Kevin Owens, calling out Kevin Owens for trying to end his career. He challenged Owens to a match at Elimination Chamber.

General Manager Adam Pearce then said the match couldn’t be official, but Zayn refused to back down. Pearce then allowed an unsanctioned match, meaning both men could use any violence they wanted. Zayn accepted the risks as the crowd chanted, “Let Them Fight.” He vowed to do whatever it took, leading to an unsanctioned match being made official for Elimination Chamber next month.

Kevin Owens missing RAW this week confused fans since the reason behind his absence is not known, but his feud with Sami Zayn is still moving forward. Their unsanctioned match at Elimination Chamber will be brutal, with fans expecting blood and intense action. Therefore, we will have to wait and see who will win when all is said and done.

Do you feel Sami Zayn will finally get his revenge on Kevin Owens, or will Owens once again prove why he is one of the most dangerous competitors in WWE? Drop your thoughts in the comments below!
