Kevin Owens knows that being a famous WWE Superstar isn’t always easy, especially when some fans don’t respect his space at airports. He recently talked about how he hates dealing with fans who don’t respect his boundaries and now, he’s explained why he prefers taking photos with fans instead of signing things.

Kevin Owens went on Twitter to explain his stance on autographs and photos with fans. He said that if you happen to see him at the airport or anywhere else, feel free to say hi, ask for a picture, or even an autograph—if he’s able to, he’ll happily do it.

However, he drew the line at people who show up with bins full of merchandise just to get things signed and then sell them. He said if you’re one of those people and get mad when he won’t sign but still offers a photo instead, “go have intercourse with yourself.”

“To clarify: If you happen to run into me at an airport or wherever, really, feel free to come talk to me or ask for a picture or an autograph if you want and if I am in a position to oblige, I absolutely will. If you come to the airport with a plastic bin full of merch and wait at baggage claim with 26 other people and get upset when I say I won’t sign but I’m happy to take a picture with you, go have intercourse with yourself. 😘”

When a fan asked why he’ll take a picture but not sign, Owens replied that photos are quick. People who want things signed often bring a bunch of items, and even when he used to say “I’ll sign one,” they’d give him attitude or try to sneak in more stuff anyway.

Kevin Owens summed it up by saying the selfish fans ruin it for the respectful ones. Taking a photo with everyone is his way of making sure the good fans still get a moment with him.

“Because a picture takes a second. Usually, the people that are there to sell the stuff we sign have a dozen things to sign. I used to say “I’ll sign one” and still get attitude back or they’d get something signed and then come back again a few seconds later, hoping I didn’t pay close enough attention to who I was signing for and try to get something else signed. It’s like anything else in life…the people that are cool and sensible end up paying the price because of the ones that are selfish pricks. Taking a picture with everyone is my way of making sure the good ones still get something.”

Kevin Owens’ honest comments remind us that WWE Superstars are regular people too. Many of them enjoy meeting fans, but some people take advantage just to make money. That kind of behavior ruins it for everyone. Owens chooses to take photos instead of signing autographs so real fans still get a fair and fun moment with him and fans respect him for this.
