Logan Paul has received unanimous praise from fans and pro wrestlers alike for his performance as a WWE Superstar despite not being part of the business for a long time. However, Kevin Owens is definitely not a fan of Logan Paul and criticized him for only competing at big stages such as WrestleMania.
While speaking to Alex McCarthy of Daily Mail, Kevin Owens was asked about his experience working with Logan Paul at WrestleMania 40. McCarthy noted that sharing the ring with Owens and Randy Orton at such a monumental event must have been significant for Paul, hoping that he appreciated the gravity of the moment.
Kevin Owens stated that he doubts Paul fully appreciates the gravity of the experience, explaining that Paul doesn’t seem to live in reality. According to Owens, WrestleMania is a goal wrestlers work toward for their entire careers, while Paul simply shows up at major events like WrestleMania and SummerSlam, criticizing him for getting such spots without working hard like other wrestlers have.
Owens stated that if Logan Paul wants to impress him, he should try performing at a live event in a small town like somewhere in Alabama, though he is sure that perspective is likely lost on Paul.
“I highly doubt that. I don’t think this dude, he doesn’t live in reality. Like, the world is not real for him. You know what I mean. He gets to do cool stuff, like WrestleMania is a big show that we all strive to be at for our entire careers and he just shows up at WrestleMania and SummerSlams in the stadiums. If you want to impress me, come to a live event in the middle of nowhere in Alabama. I am sure that is all lost on him.”
As for Logan Paul, he is currently busy being a father and confirmed he will not be competing at WrestleMania 41. Regardless, it is likely many fans will agree with what Kevin Owens had to say about The Maverick, as they believe Paul should have put in more work instead of just being handed big spots.
