Kevin Owens Calls Out Cody Rhodes for Promoting Unhealthy Habits Among Young Fans

Kevin Owens has been open about why he’s upset with Cody Rhodes, mainly because Cody teamed up with Roman Reigns, who has tried to end Owens’ career several times. That is precisely why Owens has now decided to air his grievances about Cody Rhodes again and call him out for being a bad influence on children.

While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Kevin Owens was asked to name three things that he hates about Cody Rhodes. Owens noted that doesn’t like that Rhodes made his own WWE tracksuit with his logo and called himself the “Quarterback” of this era, a title Owens thinks Cody gave himself.

“He made his own tracksuit, his own WWE tracksuit with the American Nightmare logo, but he had QB stitched on the breast. He’s going around telling people he was made Quarterback of this era. Nobody is calling him the quarterback except for himself.“

The former Universal Champion also found it very hypocritical that Cody Rhodes mentioned his Lamborghini on television, especially since Cody Rhodes owns a fancy tour bus and has a personal driver.

“On television, he talked about how I had a Lamborghini, which, I guess that offends him. He owns his own tour bus and has a driver that drives him around.“

Owens criticized Cody Rhodes for inspiring parents to bleach their kids’ hair to look like him. He called this unhealthy and stated it’s just parents trying to impress Cody to get autographs or merchandise. Owens thinks this is wrong and adds to his frustration with Cody Rhodes.

“He has this bleached hair, bleach blonde hair, which is not his natural color. That’s fine for him. What’s happening is, all over America, I’ve noticed parents bleaching their children’s hair so they can look like Cody. You’ll see it every week when he comes out. These parents are shoving their child at Cody, and they have the jacket and bleached blonde hair. That’s not good, these chemicals in your kid’s hair. He is promoting an unhealthy habit that Americans, specifically, are putting their kids through. Against their will, I’m sure. No kid is going, ‘Can you bleach my hair so I look like Cody Rhodes?’ That’s not happening. That’s just parents trying to make Cody happy so they can get an autograph or stupid weightlifter’s belt. It’s shameful all around.”

Kevin Owens is scheduled to face Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Long Island, NY on September 14th. This match is expected to mark the conclusion of their heated feud. Fans are eager to see if Owens can defeat The American Nightmare and prove his point once and for all, as their feud has become more personal with each passing day.
