Kevin Owens is currently one of WWE’s top stars during its most successful era, but there has been a lot of speculation about his future with the company, as there has been no indication that he has signed a new contract yet.

While speaking to Alex McCarthy of Daily Mail, Kevin Owens was asked about his contractual status in WWE, whether he will be around for WWE’s upcoming European tour, and if his situation has already been sorted when it comes to his contract.

Owens stated that nothing has been decided yet about his involvement in the upcoming European Road to WrestleMania events. He mentioned that WWE is putting a lot of focus on these shows, which will include TV tapings and live events in several European cities. Owens promised fans that top stars will be there and said it could feel like “WrestleMania before WrestleMania.”

“I don’t think anything is sorted for those shows yet, obviously knowing WWE and knowing how important this is being made for everyone here, this is clearly a big deal to them. Hitting all these European towns and cities back-to-back for three weeks in a row with TV there and big live events. It is a big deal.

Everyone in Europe that are going to hit those shows can be assured the top stars are going to be there, it is going to be an epic thing. The way it is being prioritised by WWE internally from what I can tell, it is kinda like WrestleMania before WrestleMania in a lot of ways.

When asked about what’s most important to him for his next WWE contract, Owens said he just wants to be happy, though he’s not sure exactly what that means. He explained that being fulfilled is complicated and involves a lot of different factors.

“I just want to be happy, but I can’t tell you what that means exactly, because I don’t actually know it either. I just want to feel fulfilled. There is a lot that goes into that. It is more intricate than we have time to get into.”

Earlier this year, Kevin Owens confirmed that there had been no changes to his contract status; it is simply nearing its end. Kevin Owens had not signed a contract extension with WWE and his future with WWE remained uncertain. In fact, many believed there was a chance he would go to AEW.

”During an interview with Metro UK back in May, Owens revealed that his current deal is set to expire in the early part of next year. He tells The Takedown on SI that the only change in his contract status since then is that there’s now less time on his deal.”

Reports suggested that Kevin Owens was close to signing a new deal with WWE but The Prizefighter is currently keeping his contractual status quiet for the time being. Only time will tell if Owens will stay with WWE as we get closer to WrestleMania 41, with many fans hoping he will remain with the company for good.
