Kevin Nash just took another swing at CM Punk—and this time, it’s about a jacket.

On the January 12, 2026 episode of Kliq This, the WWE Hall of Famer once again zeroed in on Punk’s appearance. During the January 5 episode of Raw, Punk made his entrance for a match against Bron Breakker wearing a jacket, leading to Nash letting loose on his podcast—sarcasm and all.

“I just don’t understand why Phil had to come down with a jacket on. I mean, s***, go to a f*****ing gym, Phil.”

Nash’s latest dig comes just a week after Punk pulled a harmless t-shirt spot at a WWE live event. During a World Heavyweight Championship defense against Bronson Reed, Punk peeled off one shirt—only to reveal another underneath. The moment quickly went viral, with fans linking it to Nash’s earlier criticisms about Punk wrestling in a shirt on the December 22 Raw.

Nash then roasted Punk’s wardrobe choices, saying he didn’t even need the live event footage to prove his point. He mocked the shirt Punk wore as “a .99 bargain basement” item and accused him of hiding his physique:

“It’s that shirt where you ask for a shirt and the merchandise guy gives you the one that isn’t selling for 35 bucks up in tier three.”

He also revisited their past WWE feud from 2011, reminding listeners that Punk mocked his age and body back then, but Nash wasn’t allowed to fire back at the time. Now, with Punk nearing 48, Nash said “he’s already fallen victim to the NDT shirt”—his term for a “No Definition T-shirt.”

But Punk has insisted the shirt stunt wasn’t that deep. During an appearance on Notsam Wrestling Live!, he clarified that the move was simply to make Bronson Reed laugh in the ring. Punk even referenced a past prank where he ran out at Madison Square Garden in a towel and shower cap just to keep things fun.

“That was to pop the guy I was wrestling. Doesn’t go any deeper than that. I made dude laugh, and that’s what house shows are for. “I’m trying to (have fun). Some people really wanna be miserable though. I’m trying not to be.”

While Punk may be focused on keeping things light, Nash clearly isn’t letting up—and with WrestleMania season heating up, fans are watching everything closely. Whether it’s petty or personal, one thing’s for sure: the tension between these two won’t be ending anytime soon.
