Kevin Nash didn’t mince words when it came to defending Ricochet and shutting down NXT upstart Je’Von Evans.

During the May 29, 2025 episode of Kliq This, Nash went off on Evans for taking a personal shot at AEW President Tony Khan while firing off at Ricochet on Twitter. Evans had tweeted and since deleted a harsh jab at Ricochet’s AEW career:

“Now you’re wrestling in front of 2,000 people every week for a crackhead. Talk about an upgrade.”

Ricochet clapped back with a reminder of his experience and titles. But when the topic came up on Kliq This, Nash went even harder—especially when it came to Evans’ credibility.

“That’s just a fing dig at Ricochet. I guarantee you Ricochet is making a lot more fing money than your f**ing none. I don’t even know—does this guy even work?”

When co-host Sean Oliver clarified that Je’Von Evans is part of NXT, Nash didn’t let up:

“Yeah, I know who Ricochet is, Mr. Evans. I don’t know who you are. So until you get on the radar, maybe just shut the f**k up.”

Kevin Nash didn’t hold back, defending Tony Khan with a rare mix of empathy and heat. By calling out the “crackhead” insult and flipping the narrative toward Khan’s possible neurodivergence, Nash made it clear—this isn’t just about wrestling drama, it’s about basic respect. And as for Je’Von Evans? Nash made it loud and clear: until you’ve done something, keep Ricochet’s name—and Tony Khan’s—out your mouth.
