Kevin Nash isn’t backing down when it comes to his take on the Syko Stu–Raja Jackson situation—and in a new update, he’s doubling down on where the blame really lies.
During the latest episode of Kliq This, Nash was asked why Raja Jackson was even allowed backstage or near the ring at the KnokX Pro event where he violently attacked Syko Stu. According to Nash, this kind of situation never would’ve happened in the wrestling business he came up in.
“So let’s take it one by one. Why was anyone backstage? Why was anyone in the locker room? Right?” Nash said. “Somebody had to have given the okay to bring a mark to the [__] who was running his livestream the entire time.”
He went on to criticize how some indie promotions have become so desperate for attention or viral moments that they let their guard down completely. “The desperation of a lot of these indies—maybe something will happen. No, something did happen. Yeah. They were absolutely right. They got exactly what they wanted. They got exactly what they wanted. Something did happen.”
Nash previously said the incident was “stupid” on Syko Stu’s part, questioning why anyone would hit a person they don’t even know. He also blamed the presence of a camera and speculated that Stu may have wrongly assumed Jackson was a fellow worker because of his physical appearance and filming setup.
As for Syko Stu, he’s now recovering at home after being released from the hospital. Meanwhile, California authorities have confirmed they’re pursuing the case against Raja Jackson, who could be facing multiple charges related to the incident.
