Kevin Nash just dropped a health bombshell on his Kliq This podcast—and fans have reason to be concerned, even though the WWE Hall of Famer says he’s handling it. Nash revealed that he’s scheduled for a cardioversion procedure this week to correct an irregular heartbeat. But the real shock came when he discussed what his cardiologist found.

According to Nash, doctors discovered 3% scar tissue on the back of his heart. He was told that he could’ve had a stent put in nearly 20 years ago—and might’ve already suffered a heart attack without realizing it.

“My cardiologist said that I could have had a stent put in my heart like 20 years ago. He said I might have had a minor heart attack without even realizing it. I’m not kidding you. And he explained that you can measure it as a percentage—he said the scar tissue on my heart was about 3%. He said that could be genetic, or it could have happened during the procedure of putting the stent in. But it’s in the back of my heart, which, if you’re going to have something wrong with your heart, you don’t want anything around your arteries. So it was in the back of my heart.”

The only current issue is an irregular heartbeat, which doctors are planning to treat soon by zapping his heart back into rhythm. Nash made it clear he’s staying proactive with his health.

“But like he said, everything else about me is fine. The only problem I have right now is an irregular heartbeat. He said they’re going to zap me and put me back in rhythm. So that’s my next thing.”

The former WWE Champion also recalled that his father’s autopsy showed multiple heart attacks before the final one, prompting even more personal concern.

“When they gave my dad his autopsy, they found he’d had like four before the fifth one killed him. So he just kept working through them. I’m thinking, wow, I hope I don’t have that gene in me.”

Nash said he’s taking it seriously and facing the procedure head-on. It’s another reminder that health issues can sneak up on even the biggest and strongest—literally.

Wishing Nash a smooth and safe recovery as he deals with this. What do you think about his shocking reveal? Have you or someone you know ever found out about a health issue too late? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
