Tensions are rising following Hulk Hogan’s shocking death, with allegations flying and fingers pointed—including Bubba the Love Sponge directly blaming Eric Bischoff. But now, Kevin Nash is weighing in on a separate theory that’s sparked even more controversy.

During Kliq This #164 – Saved at an IHOP, Sean Oliver shifted the conversation from wrestlers-turned-actors to the growing speculation around Hogan’s cause of death. He pointed out that Bubba had been vocal about Hogan’s declining health and speculated that Hogan may have accidentally overdosed on pain medication.

“Bubba the Love Sponge… was doing some episodes and… he had kind of been reporting on [Hogan’s] health… he was putting forth his personal opinion that it could have been an accidental opioid overdose from an over-prescription.”

Kevin Nash immediately shot that idea down:

“Hogan hated pain meds.”

The conversation then took another turn, with Oliver bringing up a report from TMZ—cited by Dave Meltzer’s site—that alleged Hogan may have been the victim of medical malpractice during a recent surgery.

“According to the report, which is on lockdown, the therapist says during a recent operation—unclear whether it was heart or neck—the surgeon severed his phrenic nerve. The phrenic nerve, by the way, controls the diaphragm and is essential for breathing.”

Nash was once again skeptical, questioning whether such a mistake would cause a delayed death.

“Well, he got up and moved around, but he didn’t just come home—he had a couple of good days, right? Is that something that would have a delayed reaction?”

He followed up with a more pointed response:

“If you severed a nerve that ran your diaphragm, I don’t… I mean, I don’t think that would take more than a few hours before you were in some kind of f**ing major distress.”

Sean Oliver noted that an autopsy had been performed, though no official results have been made public. Nash closed the segment with a more somber reflection:

“I just know my buddy’s out of pain and where he wants to be.”

As the wrestling world processes Hogan’s death, conflicting theories continue to stir debate—from alleged medical malpractice to claims that business associates like Bischoff pushed Hogan too hard in his final days. But Nash’s comments offer a counterweight, urging fans to be cautious about jumping to conclusions without facts.

Do you think Kevin Nash is right to dismiss the medical theories, or should fans take these allegations more seriously? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
