Kevin Nash is now taking aim at a fan who he believes twisted his words. After deleting his original apology regarding his comments about Je’Von Evans, the WWE Hall of Famer found himself dealing with a new issue — a cropped screenshot of his statement being circulated online.

The image shared by a Twitter user showed Nash’s original statement but only one visible line from his apology, with large black bars covering the rest of the text. The cropped version read:

“I apologize for the use of the term Mr Bogangles, it was in poor taste and obviously offensive.”

The rest of the statement — including his broader explanation — was blacked out in the image. Nash didn’t stay quiet. He responded directly to the backlash and to critics pushing the edited screenshot, posting:

“No worries. I won't make the mistake of saying anything about The Young OG. I've read the comments, and I agree. If he fails, it's on him. Haven't seen a comment from anyone who's made millions in the business. I didn't coin him an ‘Original Gangster’ Won't change my life either way.”

What began as controversy over Nash’s original “Mr. Bojangles” and “more urban” remarks has now shifted into a dispute over context, screenshots, and social media framing. The deletion of the full apology and the circulation of a cropped version have kept the conversation alive.

At this point, the story isn’t just about what Nash said — it’s about how it’s being shared, edited, and responded to online.
