Kevin Nash is opening up about the devastating injury that sidelined Cody Hall, the son of late WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall, from professional wrestling.
During an episode of his Kliq This podcast, Nash revealed the brutal details behind Cody’s neck injury, which occurred during a match in Japan involving The Young Bucks.
Cody got hurt in Japan. He broke his neck with the Young Bucks, Nash said. One of the Young Bucks jumped off the fu**ing balcony and broke his neck. So that’s why Cody’s not wrestling.
The injury was so severe that Cody ended up in the hospital wearing a neck brace. Nash shared a chilling story about that moment, involving Bob Holly making an unexpected visit to Cody’s hospital room.
As he was healing, he was in the hospital with a neck brace on and Bob Holly came in the room and put an X on his chin. He said, ‘If you fu**ing think about coming into the business, it hits you right here,’ Nash recalled.
Cody Hall’s wrestling future remains uncertain as he recovers from the severe neck injury. With such a serious setback, questions linger about whether he will ever step back into the ring.
