Kevin Nash isn’t letting CM Punk’s t-shirt stunt at a WWE live event slide.

Speaking on the January 5, 2026 episode of Kliq This, the WWE Hall of Famer responded to Punk’s trolling moment from the December 30 Fort Myers show — where Punk dramatically teased removing his shirt only to reveal another one underneath, clearly mocking Nash’s recent comments.

Nash went straight for the shirt Punk wore during the house show — and mocked its bargain-bin quality. He said he didn’t even need the live event footage to make his point — because he had already looked up the merch online:

“Before I even made a comment, I looked at the t-shirt, and the t-shirt that Phil had on was .99. It was a clearance t-shirt. I think they just wanted to empty the vault. Maybe. No — it’s that shirt where you ask for a shirt and the merchandise guy gives you the one that isn’t selling for 35 bucks up in tier three. He gives you the .99 bargain basement.”

Then, when co-host Sean Oliver brought up Punk’s double t-shirt stunt — asking if it was Punk’s way of acknowledging Nash’s comments — Nash took the opportunity to aim directly at Punk’s conditioning: “Would it be easier to just go to the gym?”

He didn’t stop there. Nash revisited their previous issues, pointing out how Punk had once mocked his age and body during their 2011 WWE storyline, but at the time, Nash wasn’t allowed to respond publicly.

“So anyway, I’m 50-something years old when I come back, and he gives me the whole ‘LOL, thought you were dead’ and all that b*******. And I’m not allowed to comment back because I’ve been told by Vince that I’m not allowed to cut a promo.”

Now that Punk is pushing 48, Nash threw in one last dig — suggesting the World Heavyweight Champion is falling into the same trap he once mocked: “He’s already fallen victim to the NDT shirt.” For context, NDT means “No Definition T-shirt” — Nash’s term for hiding a lack of muscle tone behind loose-fitting merch.

What started as a comment about t-shirts has escalated into a full-on verbal shoot. With both legends not afraid to speak their minds, this may not be the last exchange between Kevin Nash and CM Punk.
