Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada delivered another instant classic at AEW All In: Texas, with both the AEW International and Continental Titles on the line to crown the first-ever Unified Champion. While fans were locked in on every moment of the action, there was quiet concern backstage over Omega’s physical condition heading into the match—and even more afterward.

Following their 30-minute war, fans feared the worst after seeing Omega take a flurry of hard bumps, including a brutal twisting Tombstone Piledriver and an avalanche Full Nelson Suplex off the top rope. But according to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Omega managed to make it through the epic showdown in one piece.

During a Q&A episode on Fightful Select, Sapp responded to fan concerns about Omega’s condition after the match.

“There was a lot of talk going in about Kenny’s health and being able to do the Okada match. How’s he doing afterwards? And how’s the general health of the roster coming out of the show? There are admittedly some wrestlers that are banged up and some that will miss a little bit of time, but I didn’t hear of a ton of serious, serious injuries.”

Sapp clarified that while several talents will likely miss some ring time due to minor issues, there was no indication of any long-term or serious injuries across the AEW roster coming out of All In: Texas. That includes Omega, whose participation had been in question leading into the event.

This update is especially reassuring after a match that saw Omega endure Rainmakers, V-Triggers, and outside interference from Don Callis, who pulled the referee out of the ring just as Omega had the match won. The chaotic finish led to Okada walking out with the Unified Championship, but fans were left just as concerned about Omega’s body as they were the result.

Kenny Omega still looked like a war-torn veteran when the dust settled, but the good news is he’s expected to recover just fine.
