Kenny Omega has been part of AEW since the very beginning and while he has seen great success in the company, many fans feel he is simply being wasted in AEW now. Interestingly enough, Konnan has now urged Omega to make his way to WWE and get proper star treatment there.

While speaking on the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Konnan stated that he believes Kenny Omega should consider leaving AEW and joining WWE instead of finishing his career where he is. He points out that Omega is over 40 years old and questions if AEW is really the place he wants to end his career.

Konnan also notes that Omega has already had plenty of five-star matches and doesn’t need to prove anything else. He urges Omega to make the move to WWE, where he would receive top-tier treatment rather than staying in AEW as a big fish in a small pond.

“I know that he was working without a contract which he was unhappy about, but I don’t how long he has on his contract. But bro, the guy’s got to be like 40, 41, 42 somewhere like that, okay? And is that where you want to end your career? You already had a grip of five-star matches, you don’t need to prove anything else. Go to WWE and get the star treatment and don’t be a big fish in a little pond.”

In fact, Kenny Omega was even on WWE’s #1 Most Wanted List for a while but The Elite ultimately re-signed with AEW and will be remaining there for the foreseeable future. Nonetheless, only time will tell whether Omega will ever debut in WWE, as he is clearly a major deal in AEW right now and fans aren’t necessarily hoping for him to make a jump just yet.

With AEW’s landscape constantly evolving, should Omega eventually reconsider his options? Or will he remain loyal to AEW for the rest of his career? Let us know your thoughts!
