Kenny Omega Transforms Into Street Fighter Legends in Year 3 DLC Trailer

Kenny Omega just brought the fight to a different kind of arena. During the 2025 Summer Games Fest stream, the AEW star shocked fans by appearing in the official trailer for Street Fighter 6’s Year 3 DLC.

In the cinematic spot, Omega is seen alone in a locker room, staring into a mirror. One by one, his reflection morphs into each of the new DLC fighters—Sagat, C. Viper, Alex, and Ingrid. Each transformation comes with a stiff shot, and Omega eats every one like he’s selling a finisher on Dynamite.

Capcom revealed the full release schedule shortly after the trailer aired. Sagat will launch this summer, C. Viper in fall 2025, Alex in early spring 2026, and Ingrid rounding out the season later that spring.

Interestingly, Omega had already teased his involvement months earlier. Back in January 2025, he posted on Twitter:

“Excited to be working closely with Street Fighter 6 on S3. Stay tuned for more.”

This isn’t Omega’s first time connecting with Street Fighter. His long-running gaming rivalry with WWE’s Xavier Woods is well-documented, and he’s always embraced his gamer persona both in and out of the ring.

With Omega now directly tied to the Street Fighter 6 DLC, the crossover appeal between wrestling and gaming just keeps getting stronger.
