Ricochet has been running wild since turning heel, and his latest outburst has now sparked a response from Ken Jeong.
After Ricochet lost to Swerve Strickland at AEW Revolution, he took to Twitter to call out Jeong, along with Akbar Gbajabiamila and Jay Pharoah, tagging them in a post featuring a GIF of someone throwing punches. “Next time I see @kenjeong or @JayPharoah or @Akbar_Gbaja,” Ricochet wrote, making it clear he wasn’t done with them.
Jeong, who got into it with Ricochet during the AEW Revolution pay-per-view, wasn’t about to let it slide. He clapped back on Twitter, writing, “Not cool. Not afraid. I will defend celebrities’ rights from all things @KingRicochet.”
The bad blood started when Ricochet confronted Jeong during his match with Swerve Strickland. The two had a heated exchange at ringside, with Jeong nearly throwing hands before security and officials kept things from escalating. That tension has now spilled over to social media, and fans are already speculating whether AEW could turn this into an on-screen storyline.
Ricochet may have failed to earn a shot at the AEW World Title, but it looks like he’s keeping himself busy by picking fights outside the ring. Whether this back-and-forth with Jeong leads to more fireworks on AEW TV remains to be seen.
