Another exit from WWE’s on-screen ranks took a clearer turn after Kelly Kincaid responded directly to fan speculation about her departure, revealing that renewing her contract was never on the table.

Kincaid, who recently confirmed that her final day with WWE will be February 14, 2026, addressed the situation on X after a user asked whether the decision to leave was hers. The response was short and unambiguous.

“I wasn’t given the option.”

That reply adds new context to her earlier announcement, in which she confirmed she would no longer be under contract with WWE after February 14. At the time, Kincaid did not elaborate on the circumstances surrounding her exit, leaving room for speculation about whether the move was voluntary.

Kincaid, real name Kelly Verbil, joined WWE in February 2022 after working on the independent scene as Quinn McKay. She debuted on NXT Level Up and went on to become a familiar presence across NXT television as both a ring announcer and backstage interviewer.

Her departure comes during a period of noticeable turnover, with other recent exits including Tommaso Ciampa and Ava Raine, both of whom also saw their WWE contracts expire. Unlike some of those situations, Kincaid’s update makes it clear that contract renewal discussions never reached her end.

As of now, Kincaid has not announced her next move, leaving open the question of whether she will continue working in wrestling, return to in-ring competition, or step away from the industry altogether.
