Kelly Kelly was offered a chance to attend WWE Evolution 2—but don’t expect to see her sitting ringside at the all-women’s event this weekend.

The former Divas Champion took to Twitter to reveal she was invited to be part of the July 13 pay-per-view at Center Stage in Atlanta. While honored by the gesture, she made it clear that simply being in the crowd wasn’t how she envisioned her return to WWE.

“Thank you love 🥹, I was so honored to be invited to Evolution II—to sit in the crowd—it just didn’t feel like the right way to come back. I’ll always be proud to have been part of the first. My heart is with every woman in that ring tomorrow. I’ll be back when the time’s right ❤️” she wrote.

Kelly, who was part of the original Evolution event in 2018, has remained one of WWE’s most recognizable former stars. While she hasn’t wrestled in a full-time capacity in years, her message seems to suggest that she’s open to a proper comeback—just not one that involves watching from the sidelines.

Fans will no doubt keep an eye on future WWE events to see if Kelly Kelly finally steps back into the ring under her own terms.
