Kelani Jordan isn’t waiting around for one title to define her next move — she’s already thinking bigger as she’s ready for a main roster call-up.
After building a strong résumé in NXT, including becoming the inaugural Women’s North American Champion and even capturing the TNA Knockouts World Championship during a crossover appearance, Jordan now has her sights set on WWE’s main roster. Speaking with Busted Open Radio, Jordan made it clear she believes she’s ready to take that next step — whether it’s Raw or SmackDown.
“I would love to go to the main roster. I’ve been able to be on a bigger platform and wrestle girls on that next level. I’d love either Raw or SmackDown. I think I’m ready.”
What makes her stance even more interesting is that she’s not treating the NXT Women’s Championship as a required milestone. Instead, Jordan openly suggested that skipping that step entirely isn’t out of the question.
“But if the NXT Women’s Title is in my future, that’s great — but if the main roster is next, I have my eyes on the US Title or the Intercontinental.”
Jordan backed up that mindset by pointing to past examples, noting that not every successful WWE star needed an NXT Women’s Title run before breaking out on a bigger stage.
“I think you can jump over the NXT Title. You’ve seen girls do it before. Even when Becky Lynch was in NXT, she didn’t win the title when she came back. She had the feud with Tiffany Stratton and Lyra Valkyria when she got the championship. But there are Superstars who’ve never won the NXT Women’s Title, and they’re prospering on the main roster.”
With confidence clearly not an issue, Kelani Jordan is already positioning herself for a major leap — and she’s not limiting her goals to just one division. If anything, she’s aiming straight for titles that haven’t traditionally been part of the women’s landscape, signaling just how high she’s setting the bar.
