Fans hoping to see Keith Lee make a surprise return at AEW All In: Texas are in for a letdown. Just hours before the event kicks off at Globe Life Field in Arlington, the former AEW standout shut down rumors of a comeback in his home state.
A fan on Twitter/X posted that their son was excited to see Keith Lee at the event. Lee replied directly, offering a gracious but definitive update on his status:
“Please tell the youngling that I must request his forgiveness as I will be absent. However, I am hopeful you guys have an absolute blast. Enjoy yourselves! All my love and gratitude.”
Lee hasn’t wrestled since defeating Brian Cage at AEW Collision: Holiday Bash in December 2023. He was pulled from Worlds End later that month after revealing he had been battling a lingering injury since 2022. Despite being under contract with AEW, he has not been medically cleared to return and has remained off television, except for a brief backstage sighting at a Texas taping earlier this year.
While fans have speculated that All In: Texas would be a natural place for the Texas native to reemerge, Lee is making it clear that his return isn’t up to him. In a previous tweet to another supporter, he wrote:
“I am quite fine. It is not up to me when it comes to a return. But blessings to you as well.”
And in another reply, Lee emphasized he’s staying patient:
“Things happen the way they are suppose to, and eventually, the purpose will show itself.”
For now, the Limitless One remains sidelined, but fans can take comfort in knowing that Lee hasn’t ruled out a return entirely—just not tonight.
