Keith Lee’s absence from AEW TV has fans asking the same question—where is he? It’s been over three months since The Limitless One was last seen in a ring, and now we finally have an update straight from behind the scenes.

Speaking on The Hump, Sean Ross Sapp was asked for the latest on Lee’s status. “The last I asked of him, I was told was that he was still under contract, and that was it,” Sapp said. “I was just told he’s still under contract. I haven’t heard anything specific, haven’t heard that he’s particularly been around, except for, like, a Texas date as well.”

That “Texas date” refers to when Keith Lee confirmed he was backstage at an AEW Dynamite taping in Austin earlier this year. He made it clear that it was simply because the venue was close to home—and not a signal of a comeback.

Lee’s last match was back on December 23, 2023, at AEW Collision: Holiday Bash, where he scored a win over Brian Cage. Since then, he’s been off the radar. According to reports, the main reason for his extended absence is that he has not yet been medically cleared to compete.

Despite being MIA for months, Lee’s loyal fanbase continues to support him. There’s no official return date, no clear direction, and no guarantee of what his next chapter in AEW will even look like—but fans still believe AEW TV feels off without him.

Will Keith Lee eventually shock fans with a surprise return—or should AEW get more transparent about his future? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know how you’d bring him back.
