Keanu Carver took a beating during NXT’s wild seven-man ladder match on February 3—but his latest post shows just how real the pain got.
Carver took to his Instagram story and uploaded a graphic photo of his hand following the wild seven-man ladder match on NXT. The image showed a completely torn-off fingernail, including the skin underneath—exposing just how brutal the bout really was. His caption? “Lul sumn from the ladder match.” Carver’s casual tone said it all. Despite the gruesome aftermath, he wasn’t shaken.
The February 3 episode of WWE NXT ended in chaos after a high-risk, high-pain ladder match for the vacant NXT Title—left behind by Oba Femi when he joined the main roster. Carver was one of seven competitors in the match, alongside Ricky Saints, Shiloh Hill, Sean Legacy, Jackson Drake, Dion Lennox, and Joe Hendry, who ultimately walked away with the championship.
Carver had several incredible moments throughout the match, including tearing apart a ladder with raw power and getting buried under steel to keep him out of the action. But now, fans know the physical price he paid.
One thing’s for sure: Keanu Carver may have lost the match, but he earned respect—and left part of himself in that ring.
