Karrion Kross’ WWE contract expired last week and fans instantly speculated where he would end up next. However, Kross has revealed that other promotions are apprehensive about reaching out to him.

While speaking on the Ariel Helwani Show, Karrion Kross said he is free to sign with any company now that his contract expired, saying, “Yeah, I’m free and clear.”

When Ariel Helwani asked if promotions were hesitant to reach out because they were unsure if his situation was legitimate, Kross explained that some are indeed afraid, not wanting to get caught up in a storyline.

Karrion Kross said he has heard from others that people are asking what is really going on and are concerned about contacting him. Kross stated that he is not treating the situation like a game, as it involves his life and livelihood. He added that while loyalty is important to him, it must go both ways.

“They are afraid. They don’t want to get caught in an angle. I’ve been told through people, they’re like, ‘Hey, what’s actually going on?’ They’re telling me people are concerned about making contact.

But at the end of the day, I’m not trying to turn this into a game. It’s not a game for me—it’s my life and my livelihood. Loyalty is a big thing, but loyalty is a two-way street.”

This comes after Karrion Kross has already confirmed that, contrary to popular belief, his WWE departure was definitely not a work and he’s a free agent. Nonetheless, fans hope other companies will eventually start working with Kross as soon as possible since many just want him to end up in a major company again soon.
