Karrion Kross has never been shy about his chemistry with Scarlett on WWE programming, but according to the man himself, one of their most viral moments wasn’t part of the script.

During a recent interview with 10 Count Media, Kross revealed that the passionate kiss they shared during a live WWE Raw in Providence was completely unplanned.

The kiss caught fans off guard—in a good way—and got a huge pop from the crowd. Kross admitted it was just another in a long line of ribs he and Scarlett like to play on each other during live segments.

“Her and I play ribs on each other all the time. That one was just more obvious than the other ones that we’ve done live. But yeah, her and I have always improvisationally worked off of each other when there’s not a script in front of us.”

He also emphasized that what fans saw in that moment was as real and unscripted as it gets.

“Yeah, what you saw is what happened. I just thought, you know, it’s all for the sake of people enjoying it and entertaining people.”

Interestingly, Kross revealed that the two usually avoid public displays of affection, especially on wrestling TV, because they always thought it felt off when other couples did it.

“Her and I are not big on PDA in general. Especially too, her and I being wrestling fans, neither of us ever tuned in to watch wrestling to watch people make out. It’s kind of obnoxious, which is why we’ve always kind of stayed away from kissing on camera. Like, get over yourselves, right? You guys are in a relationship—do it somewhere else.”

But that night in Providence, something just felt different—and even Kross was surprised by how the fans reacted.

“In that moment, it felt different. And then I was even laughing too. I was surprised that got cheered. I was surprised people cheered that, ’cause normally, people—you know, like if you were to see other couples in the past, Edge and Lita—no one was cheering that. You know what I mean? Snitsky and Kelly Kelly—no one’s gonna cheer that. It was interesting and funny. And yes, it was very improvisational.”

Kross and Scarlett’s ability to feed off the crowd and improvise in the moment has always been part of their appeal. But now fans know that the kiss wasn’t just a scripted moment—it was a real, spontaneous connection that just happened to hit at the perfect time.
