Karrion Kross is showing up for Chris Bey—but he’s not showing up bald.
Ahead of the ‘Beynefit’ event on March 23 in Las Vegas, Kross appeared on The DeFalco Files podcast and addressed the growing fan speculation that he might shave his head as part of the benefit show for his longtime friend Chris Bey. And while he made it clear he’s fully behind the cause, he shut down any hope of a last-minute head shave in the bluntest way possible.
“There’s no f’ing way I’m gonna be shaving my head at the (FSW Beynefit) show,” Kross said with a laugh, adding that WWE’s top boss wouldn’t exactly be thrilled if he pulled the trigger. “Hunter would Pedigree me on the stairs if I came back to work with my hair missing.”
But Kross isn’t just keeping his hair out of vanity. In fact, he revealed that he originally started growing it out with plans to donate it to children suffering from hair loss through a charity project back in December 2024. The only thing stopping it? WWE wanted to build a storyline around it on television.
“There was an idea to do that, but maybe make a story out of it on television, and so, we didn’t get to doing the story,” he explained. “I don’t have any sort of piece of vanity hidden to keep my hair… I was literally doing it for the function of growing it as long as possible to give it away to these kids.”
Kross did say he made a “generous donation” to the organization in the meantime to let them know he didn’t forget about them. Timing, however, remains everything.
As for Bey, Kross got emotional recalling the moment he found out about his friend’s neck/spinal injury. “I had a full-blown panic attack on the airplane and I don’t have panic attacks,” he shared. “He would be like the last person on earth I would ever think something like this would happen to.”
Even though Kross won’t be shaving his head at the event, he’s fully committed to using his star power to bring eyes to the cause. “Now I’ll talk a little bit about this because I can use the attention to bring it to ticket sales or viewership-buys on Triller,” he said.
With stars like Swerve Strickland, Ricochet, and Kross on deck, ‘Beynefit’ is shaping up to be a memorable night in Las Vegas—but don’t expect any clippers coming near Kross’s head.
