There have been rumors spreading online that Karrion Kross avoids taking back bumps during matches. While Kross has already debunked these rumors, he has now revealed the locker room reaction to the rumors.

While speaking on Foundation Radio, Karrion Kross revealed what the locker room thought about the rumors that he avoids taking back bumps. He said it was actually funny because some of the talent backstage were joking around, telling him he should go out there and bump like Shawn Michaels did against Hulk Hogan.

Others teased that maybe he should just take absolutely no bumps at all, just stand there and not sell a single thing. Kross made it clear that everyone was laughing about it.

“It was funny, um, some of us were joking at the back, they’re like, ‘Dude, you should go out there and bump like Shawn Michaels versus Hulk Hogan.’ And then some of the guys were like, ‘Maybe you should just take absolutely no bumps, just sell, you know, just don’t take any at all.’ But don’t sell a thing—not a single sell had to be done in that match, nothing. Yeah, right.”

Kross made it clear he could never actually do something like that. Fans pay good money and spend their valuable time watching the show, and he couldn’t turn it into a joke just to entertain a small group of people online. As a professional, he said he would never disrespect the audience or the business that way, even if the locker room was cracking up at the idea.

“But honestly, at the end of the day, like, I can’t do either of those because people are paying good money and spending very valuable time watching the show. I can’t turn the show into a joke for like a strange subculture of people, I can’t do that. Right? So obviously, as a professional, I would have never done that. But you know, we were howling about it.”

Karrion Kross also proved why the rumors were false after taking several back bumps at Night of Champions. Regardless, Kross is now determined to keep on building momentum and he’s clearly over with fans, so we’ll have to see how WWE will keep on booking him in the coming weeks.

What’s your take on Karrion Kross’ reaction to these rumors? Do you think fans sometimes read too much into online speculation? Sound off in the comments.
