Karrion Kross has managed to get over in a big way with the WWE Universe thanks to his incredible social media game, which has extended to WWE programming. With that in mind, Kross has now revealed if he’s frustrated that WWE doesn’t really come up with ideas for him.

While speaking to Busted Open Radio, Karrion Kross was asked if it’s frustrating to see what he can accomplish on his own through social media and wonder why WWE can’t find those same opportunities for him.

Kross explained that he doesn’t let himself get frustrated because frustration usually leads to losing motivation and thinking about leaving. That kind of attitude can make someone contentious at work, and nobody wants to deal with that, including himself.

“The way I look at it is, I don’t get frustrated. What happens when people get frustrated is they get unmotivated, they start thinking, I gotta split, I gotta do this. You come to work with a contentious attitude and no one wants to deal with that. I don’t want to deal with people who are frustrated.”

Instead, Kross sees his outside success as a proof of concept. If he’s creating things that gain traction away from TV, he takes it as a chance to show WWE that what he’s doing is working.

Kross believes it proves he can make a connection, and if they want to collaborate on one of his ideas and find common ground, he’s ready. If not, he’ll just come up with a new concept and bring it to them. Each week when he puts something out, he feels like he’s offering them another option, and it’s up to them whether or not they want to use it.

“I look at it like this: if I’m doing things that are gaining traction outside of TV, I see that as a proof of concept. I wanna show it to them — hey, what we have here, it’s good. I have something that potentially is better, and we can use it if you like it. At the very least, I’ve shown them I have the ability to make that connection, and if we’re able to collaborate on a concept I have and find common ground, then that’s what I’ll do. If we’re not doing that, then I’m gonna come up with a new concept and bring it to the team. Every single week when I put something out, I feel like I’m just giving them something they can see works. It’s an option, whether or not they wanna use it.”

This comes after it was revealed Karrion Kross pays out of his own pockets to produce his own promos. Regardless, we’ll have to see what’s next for Kross as he recently lost to Sami Zayn at Night of Champions and fans just want to see him succeed this year.
