Karrion Kross has seen a resurgence in his career lately and it’s thanks to all of his incredible promos on WWE television and on social media. In fact, it appears that he is paying for all the production and videos out of his own pocket.
While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Shotzi Blackheart talked about her friendship with Karrion Kross and shared how impressed she is by his dedication to his work. She mentioned that they used to travel together with Scarlett, and even in casual moments, Kross would randomly start cutting promos. She was amazed by how naturally it came to him and noted that fans often don’t realize how skilled he is on the mic.
“Honestly, he is an inspiration. I used to travel with him and Scarlett all the time. He’ll just be in this haunted house and he’ll be like, ‘Hey, come here, I’m gonna cut a promo,’ and off the cuff I’m like, how do you do that? How do you just start talking? People don’t see what a great talker he is.”
Shotzi then revealed that Karrion Kross has been paying for his own social media video productions, hiring people to help bring his creative vision to life. Shotzi said it’s been incredibly inspiring to watch him take the initiative and build something on his own.
“I’m glad he’s not waiting for WWE to let him show it. He’s taking it into his own hands. He’s hiring all these people to put all these productions together. Because like, if they’re not gonna do it, I’m gonna do it myself. It’s honestly been really inspiring to see him taking it into his own hands.”
This comes after we have previously reported that fans can expect Karrion Kross to receive more opportunities on television, as WWE plans to further develop his character and give him more room to grow on a weekly basis.
Kross paying out of his own pocket for his videos is impressive since it really shows commitment to his work and his belief in himself. Therefore, we’ll have to see whether he will make 2025 the best year of his career.
