Kali Armstrong made her mark in unforgettable fashion on the May 28 episode of WWE EVOLVE, becoming the first-ever WWE EVOLVE Women’s Champion—and she didn’t waste a second letting everyone know it.
Armstrong outlasted Wendy Choo, Kylie Rae, and Kendal Grey in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match to capture the historic title. The eliminations unfolded fast: Choo was taken out first by Rae, and Grey was also eliminated by Rae shortly after. That left Rae and Armstrong as the final two.
Armstrong sealed the deal with her finishing move, the Kali Connection, pinning Rae and securing her place in EVOLVE history.
After the match, WWE legend Natalya entered the ring to present the championship. But in a moment that had the crowd on its feet, Armstrong snatched the title out of Natalya’s hands and walked the ring with it held high—no words, no hesitation, just pure statement.
Armstrong didn’t just win the title—she owned the spotlight and made it clear the EVOLVE women’s division now runs through her.
