Kaitlyn rose to fame during the third season of NXT in the early 2010s and became a standout in WWE’s women’s division. Many fans have since wondered why she was never part of Total Divas, which was hugely popular during her time there, and now the reason behind her absence from the show has been revealed.

While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Kaitlyn was asked why she was never part of Total Divas. Kaitlyn explained that she wasn’t close with many of the Divas on Total Divas, but it wasn’t because she didn’t like them.

When Kaitlyn first started, she admitted that she did get bullied. This happened because she got her start quickly without much experience, which led to some hazing from a few of the Divas.

However, she said most of the women on the show were really nice to her. She just wasn’t part of the group and didn’t know how to fit in. She was still young and figuring out who she was, both as a wrestler and a person. She also said that back then, she didn’t have the confidence she has now to be on a show like Total Divas.

“I think part of it was that I was never super close with a lot of the Divas there. It wasn’t because I didn’t like them or anything—though I did get bullied a little bit when I was new. I think it was just the way I came up. I came up really fast and had an amazing opportunity to start without any experience. Because of that, I went through a bit of hazing and bullying from some of the Divas.

But honestly, the majority of the women on the show were super cool with me. I just wasn’t really part of the clique, and I didn’t know how to be. I was still so young and still figuring out who I was—not just as a performer, but as a person in real life. So I don’t know. I think I also didn’t have the confidence back then that I have now, to put myself out there and be in a situation like being on a show like Total Divas.”

Kaitlyn’s time in WWE shows how much she’s grown as a wrestler and as a person. Over the years, she gained more confidence and maturity, which helped her succeed. Even though she wasn’t part of Total Divas, her career has still thrived in many other ways, and she wouldn’t change it for anything.
