Julia Hart Wins First Match Back Since Injury During 1/1 AEW Dynamite

Harrah’s Cherokee Center in Asheville, North Carolina hosted the January 1 episode of AEW Dynamite. This episode was Fight For The Fallen, and it also saw the fallout after AEW Worlds End. It also housed Julia Hart’s in-ring return.

During this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the House of Black’s Julia Hart took on Jamie Hayter. This was a big match for Hart, as it was her first in-ring outing since her dramatic return since her hiatus started 255 days ago.

This match was a highlight during the first quarter of the show this week. Hayter received a good reception from the crowd, but Julia Hart’s impressive entrance also had fans singing along to her gothic sounding song.

These two had a chance to have a nice match on TBS this week. Each woman had their own near falls, and fans were also invested in the contest. They also fought through a commercial break in picture-in-picture.

The finish of this match came after Jamie Hayter took a bad bump and she sold an injury. Then Julia Hart got an arrow to use as a weapon. Referee Aubrey Edwards took the arrow away from Julia, and as Edwards’ back was turned, Hart sprayed mist into Hayter’s face and got the win.

Julia Hart used Kill Bill as a muse as she established her AEW character. She is certainly off to a good start. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more.
