Josh Alexander gave Windsor fans something to talk about when he made an unadvertised appearance at Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling’s Mayhem Night Two.
The former TNA Wrestling star stormed into the main event to even the odds, taking out Blake Christian and Sheldon Jean after they interfered in The Jet Setters’ match against The Kingdom.
Alexander wasn’t just there to throw fists—he also had an announcement. Grabbing the mic after the chaos, he made it clear he’s not done making history. “I’m all Canadian, and I’m all about making history,” Alexander said. “And we’re stepping foot into a historic Canadian building May 10. So, if you want to see Josh Alexander maybe come to the Mattamy (Athletic) Center, or I’ll just call it Maple Leaf Gardens, on May 10 for MLP!”
The Walking Weapon recently wrapped up his time with TNA Wrestling and is widely expected to sign with AEW in the near future. His appearance at Maple Leaf Pro wasn’t the only AEW connection, as Serena Deeb, QT Marshall, and Billy Gunn also appeared during the weekend’s events.
With Alexander now a free agent, the question is: where will he officially land next? Do you think he’s AEW-bound, or should WWE make a play for him? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
