WWE brought a big episode of NXT for their June 24 edition. They also set the stage for Evolution while they were at it.

Four singles matches took place on WWE NXT last week to determine participants for a four-way match. The winner of that match will challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Title at WWE Evolution.

Last week, Thea Hail faced Jaida Parker. Although Parker tapped out, the referee missed it, allowing her to hit her finisher and win. Lash Legend defeated Kelani Jordan after a match that continued through a commercial break. Izzi Dame beat Zaria to earn her spot. Jordynne Grace defeated Lola Vice in the final qualifier.

That fatal four-way match was the main event of NXT this week. They also hyped the match throughout the episode, and even opened up the show with brief promos from the competitors.

The fans were split among the four competitors in this match, and everyone in the match brought it at a high level. They wrestled through a commercial break, and they returned to action as things accelerated in a big way with all four wrestlers battling on the top rope. In the end, Jordynne Grace nailed a powerbomb/superplex on everyone. Then they had to mute the audio for several seconds as fans chanted “Holy sh*t.”

The match continued with Lash Legend planting Parker, but Grace jumped in to stomp on her back and kick Lash out of the ring. Then Grace nailed a Torture Rack Bomb to win the #1 contender spot for Evolution.

WWE Evolution will go down on July 13, 2025, at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The event is part of WWE’s weekend in Atlanta, which includes Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12.
