Jordynne Grace Shows Up To Tease Main Roster Jump During 1/2 WWE SmackDown

WWE SmackDown’s January 2, 2026 episode went down at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. This was the start of a new year, and a new three-hour format for the blue brand. They also packed a lot of action into one show, and that included a new face on Friday nights.

Jordynne Grace has been making noise in NXT since her debut. She transitioned over from TNA Wrestling with ease, and now she’s ready to make her mark on the main roster.

It was previously reported that Jordynne Grace was spotted in the home of the Buffalo Bills prior to SmackDown this week. She showed up during the show’s first hour, right after a big 8-woman tag team match.

SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis was backstage with Jordynne Grace, speaking to her about joining the blue brand. This wasn’t a concrete deal, but it ended with Aldis hoping that Grace will be a part of his roster.

After that, Chelsea Green came in and made the segment all about her. Jordynne Grace may be a big difference maker for SmackDown. Only time will tell what happens next.
