WWE’s NXT brand held the Vengeance Day premium live event at the CareFirst Arena in Washington, D.C. With Shawn Michaels and his team in charge, the event featured a lineup with several high-stakes matches.
One of the featured matches was a Fatal 4-Way for the NXT Women’s Championship, with Giulia, Bayley, Roxanne Perez, and Cora Jade competing for the title. This match was actually just a triple threat match until Jade was inserted into the mix at the last minute.
The NXT Women’s Title match closed out Vengeance Day, and the contest received a big fight feel. This was a hard-hitting match from the get-go as they cycled in and out of the ring to keep the action fresh.
Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade also had a chance to battle it out in the ring. Then Bayley got a piece of Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez as she laid out both former besties. After that, Giulia wrapped Bayley up in an octopus lock, and a crucifix bomb for a two count before Roxanne Perez broke up the pin.
This match continued, with a lot of drama involved between all competitors. Giulia was able to rally several times, but the number game was against her. Cora Jade also found herself at the bottom of a tower of doom, but she wasn’t able to pull out the victory.
Finally, Giulia was able to nail a Northern Lights Bomb on Roxanne Perez, and she got the clean win. This was a huge victory for the Beautiful Madness. The event ended with Giulia celebrating, but then Stephanie Vaquer came out to stand face-to-face with Giulia as they celebrated together with their new titles.
Suddenly, Jordynne Grace’s music hit and she made her way out. This was her official NXT debut, as she is now a member of the WWE roster. This was made very clear during the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble. Grace walked up to both champions in NXT, and she sized them up as the show faded to black.
We will have to see what the future holds, but Jordynne Grace is certainly going to shake things up in NXT. Only time will tell how long it takes for her to hold one of those titles.
What’s your take on the NXT Women’s Title picture? Is Roxanne Perez ready for the WWE main roster?
