Jordynne Grace is adding a new title to her résumé — actress. The WWE star is set to make her acting debut in an upcoming fantasy movie called Welcome to Paradise, and she’s joining some serious British royalty on the cast list.
The project comes from independent wrestler-turned-filmmaker Charles Crowley, real name Richard Summers-Calvert, who wrote and directed the movie. Fans first caught wind of Grace’s involvement back in September 2024, when she posted a behind-the-scenes photo alongside Crowley. Now, it’s official — Variety confirmed the news and revealed new details on the film.
Welcome to Paradise features Grace alongside British icons Bill Nighy and Matthew Horne. Nighy is providing voice work for the film, while other familiar names set to appear include Georgina Bennett, Kirk Patterson, Togo Igawa, Tracey Wilkinson, and the late Simon Fisher-Becker.
The fantasy film follows a woman named Lisa, played by Grace, who wakes up on a mysterious beach with no memory of her past. After meeting a strange creature, she’s told she’s arrived at “The Carnival” — a magical, otherworldly venue filled with humans and mythical beasts.
There, Lisa teams up with Harvey, another lost soul, as they both search for answers about their forgotten lives. But nothing in The Carnival comes without a price.
According to IMDb, Grace is credited as “Lisa (Jacked Wrestling Demon Form),” hinting that fans can expect the powerhouse wrestler to bring her signature strength to the big screen in more ways than one.
The movie is currently in post-production and “eyeing a late 2025 delivery with major festival berths in its sights,” per Variety.
Jordynne Grace’s leap from the squared circle to the silver screen marks another WWE star testing the waters in Hollywood — and judging by the cast and concept, this project could grab some real attention.
