Jordynne Grace may no longer be a TNA star, but she clearly keeps an eye on what’s happening with her former company. She would delete a tweet about an incredibly dangerous spot at TNA Rebellion and has now explained why she did that in the first place.

At TNA Wrestling’s Rebellion pay-per-view, Moose retained his TNA X-Division Championship in an Ultimate-X match against five other wrestlers, but it wasn’t just Moose’s win that people talked about.

During the match, Leon Slater hit a 450 Swanton from the top of the Ultimate-X structure. Unfortunately, no one was ready to catch him when he landed outside, and he fell hard on the ground with very little to soften his fall.

Jordynne Grace talked about the dangerous spot, explaining that if someone is falling from a high place and is heavier or moving faster, it’s much harder to catch them. She also pointed out that if you do try to catch them, there’s a very high chance you could get injured. She ended up getting backlash for saying this, and she deleted the tweet entirely.

“The higher/heavier/faster the person is falling, the harder it is to catch them. The likelihood of injury to yourself if you do catch them is extremely high.”

This led to a fan asking whether Jordynne Grace meant the wrestlers shouldn’t have caught Leon Slater during the spot, saying, “Is she saying don’t catch the guy? Lmfaooo I just wanna be sure.”

Jordynne Grace went on Twitter to explain why she deleted her post about Leon Slater’s move at TNA Rebellion. She said she was trying to show how risky these moves are and how hard they can be, something wrestlers sometimes forget when agreeing to do them. She deleted the tweet because she felt she didn’t explain it clearly enough and didn’t want people to get the wrong idea.

“No. I was saying these are the factual risks everyone involved needs to be aware of, and trying to shed a light on the level of difficulty, which wrestlers often neglect to take into account before agreeing to these things. Deleted because if people thought THIS is what I was saying, I didn’t articulate myself well enough.”

As for Leon Slater’s status, Fightful Select reported people backstage said that Leon Slater seemed to be okay after his crazy move during the Ultimate X match, saying, “Those that we spoke to said that Leon Slater appeared to be okay backstage after his insane Ultimate X spot.” Nonetheless, Grace simply had to make her stance on the matter clear and fans respect her for what she had to say.
