Jon Moxley is no longer in possession of the AEW World Championship briefcase, and it’s all thanks to Cope and Jay White.

During the latest AEW Dynamite, Cope intercepted Marina Shafir as she attempted to hit him with the briefcase. After taking out Moxley with a steel chair, Cope turned the tables, snatching the briefcase in the process.

Things escalated quickly when Cope and Jay White locked Shafir in a room before walking off with the case—meaning the AEW World Title is now in their hands.

The belt itself hasn’t been seen since Moxley won it at AEW WrestleDream. Instead of showing off the championship, Moxley kept it hidden in a bag before later transferring it into the briefcase, which Shafir had been carrying ever since.
