Jon Moxley doesn’t want another draw — he wants a finish.

On the February 18, 2026 episode of AEW Dynamite, the AEW Continental Champion made it clear that his rivalry with Konosuke Takeshita is far from over. After their hard-hitting Grand Slam showdown ended in a 20-minute time-limit draw, Moxley threw out a direct challenge for AEW Revolution with one major condition: no time limits.

Their Grand Slam match allowed Moxley to retain his Continental Championship, but it left unfinished business. Takeshita once again proved he could hang with — and potentially beat — one of AEW’s toughest champions. This time, Moxley doesn’t want the clock involved.

On Dynamite, he made it clear he’s looking for a decisive outcome at Revolution and wants the time limit completely removed. There will be no draw and no ticking clock to protect either man. If they step into the ring again, one of them will have to definitively put the other down.

The history between them makes the rematch even more compelling. During the round robin portion of the 2025 Continental Classic, Takeshita handed Moxley a loss. While Moxley ultimately won the tournament and captured the Continental Championship, that defeat remains a mark on his record.

At Grand Slam, Takeshita pushed him to the edge once again. Now, with no time restrictions in place, there will be nowhere to run.

Later in the show, Don Callis officially accepted the challenge on Takeshita’s behalf, confirming that the no time limit match is set for AEW Revolution.

With the clock removed from the equation, this rematch is poised to be as violent and definitive as it gets. AEW Revolution just became even more dangerous.
