John Laurinaitis is stepping back into the limelight—more than two years after being named in the Janel Grant sex trafficking lawsuit.

In a February 12, 2026 video announcement, the former WWE executive revealed he will make his first public appearance since being named in the Janel Grant sex trafficking lawsuit. Laurinaitis is set to appear at Big Time Wrestling’s March Mayhem event in Ohio on March 14, where he’ll conduct his first-ever public signing.

“Big Time Wrestling’s March Mayhem on Saturday, March 14 — I, Mr. John Laurinaitis, former Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and former GM of RAW and SmackDown, will be there to do my first-ever signing. I suggest that everybody watch me there, otherwise I will have to wish you the best in your future endeavors. People Power.”

While this is his first public appearance in over two years, Laurinaitis was officially dismissed from the lawsuit in May 2025 after reaching a confidential settlement and agreeing to provide evidence against Vince McMahon and WWE. The joint statement released through Janel Grant’s legal team made his cooperation clear.

“John Laurinaitis has agreed to cooperate and provide evidence in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE,” the statement read. “His agreement to a confidential settlement is a pivotal next step toward holding McMahon and WWE accountable… Mr. Laurinaitis looks forward to moving on with his life.”

Though the legal drama made him keep a very low profile, Laurinaitis now appears ready to step back into the wrestling world—starting with autographs and fan photos. Whether his return is welcomed or rejected, one thing’s for sure: “People Power” is back in the public eye.

Should John Laurinaitis be doing public appearances again this soon? Would you attend his signing—or steer clear? Drop your thoughts below and let us know where you stand.
