John Cena’s farewell appearance on WWE Monday Night RAW has turned into a ticket-selling machine. Just 12 hours ahead of bell time at TD Garden in Boston, WWE moved an impressive number of tickets overnight—proving once again that the 16-time World Champion is still a massive draw.
According to a November 10 update from WrestleTix, WWE has distributed 15,766 tickets out of a setup of 16,252 seats, leaving just 486 available. That’s a jump of +679 tickets moved in the last 24 hours alone.
This massive surge comes on the heels of Cena’s farewell storyline heating up. WWE revealed on the November 4 episode of RAW that Cena’s final opponent will be determined through a 16-man cross-brand tournament. That bracket announcement—and the fact that the first two matches (Sheamus vs. Nakamura and Rusev vs. Priest) are set to kick off in Boston—has fans scrambling for any remaining seats.
WrestleTix also noted that WWE’s year-to-date RAW average is 11,757, meaning Cena’s farewell is already blowing past normal turnout. With a resale pool of 546 tickets and the cheapest seat currently listed at $84.45, demand is only getting hotter.
“John Cena’s final WWE appearance in Boston” is listed as a key reason for the spike, according to WrestleTix. This edition of RAW could end up outdrawing the 12,317 fans who showed up for SmackDown at the same venue back in August.
With WWE unlocking extra seating sections like Loge 15 and the upper levels, and Cena’s farewell match now on the horizon, fans are turning this episode into one of the biggest live TV events WWE has had in Boston in years.
