John Cena might not be done yet—and now there’s serious talk of him stepping into the ring with Travis Scott.

After Travis Scott helped Cena capture the Undisputed WWE Universal Title from Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, fans immediately started asking what’s next. During the post-show press conference, Paul “Triple H” Levesque was asked directly about Scott’s future with the company. His response? “Could we see him do more and step in the ring? Just gotta tune in.”

Now, according to Cory of PWNexus, there’s even more to the story: “I’ve been informed that there is a pitch for John Cena and Travis Scott to work a tag team match together at some point this year. Nothing concrete as of right now.” Fellow reporter Masked J added, “Unfortunately, hearing the same info,” suggesting talks are heating up behind the scenes.

Meanwhile, TNA World Champion Joe Hendry has been pushing hard for a match with Cena before the WWE legend hangs up his boots—and he just took things up a notch. While speaking to Ariel Helwani, Hendry teased the possibility of a major music name stepping into his corner.

“He’s got Travis Scott in his corner—can you imagine if a huge star in music just reached out to Joe Hendry? Someone in the same ballpark as Travis Scott… maybe it’s the same genre. Maybe it happened yesterday. Did the person say I could go to one of their concerts… I’m gonna stop there.”

Cena and Hendry in the same ring—with music megastars flanking both sides—could create one of the most surreal tag matches of the year. But with Cena’s retirement looming, time is running out to make it happen.
