John Cena’s keeping himself busy not just in WWE but in the world of Hollywood as well and he’s had a lot of experience working with Idris Elba. Elba recently claimed he would beat up Cena in a real fight and now Cena has responded to Elba’s claim.

During the Late Night Show with Stephen Colbert, a clip was shown where Idris Elba was asked who would win in a real fight between him and John Cena. At first, he seemed surprised by the question but confidently said he would kick Cena’s ass, saying, “I would kick his ass.”

John Cena then responded by saying Elba’s comment hurt his feelings. He added that, based on audience reaction, it would probably end in a draw. Cena said there would be no clear winner and refused to claim he could beat Elba in a fight. Instead, he joked that their battle would shift from physical to a test of wits.

“Man, he hurts my feelings a lot. I would call it a draw judging by audience participation. We would fight to a draw. There is no winner here. I’m not going to sit here in this very comfortable chair in a tie like this and say I would kick Idris Elba’s ass. I’m not going to do that. We would fight to a draw and would take it to a battle of wits.”
