John Cena has evolved plenty of times throughout his WWE career, but if Vince Russo is right, The Champ could be gearing up for his boldest transformation yet—going completely bald.

During the latest episode of BroDown, Russo was asked if WWE was planning to make any changes to Cena’s look following his shocking heel turn at Elimination Chamber. Without hesitation, Russo made his prediction: “Bro, I got to tell you, I think he’s going to shave his head.”

Fans have been speculating about Cena’s hair for a while now. Over the years, it’s been clear that his once-full head of hair isn’t quite what it used to be. Yet, despite the noticeable thinning, Cena has stuck with his longer hairstyle since making his latest comeback. But with his heel persona now in full effect, it wouldn’t be surprising if WWE wants to make a drastic visual shift to match the character change.

If this happens, it would mark a major shift for Cena, who has sported his classic short-cropped style since the early 2000s. A shaved-head look could align perfectly with his new ruthless, corporate-backed villainous persona, making him appear even more intimidating as he continues to align himself with The Rock and Travis Scott.

This wouldn’t be the first time a WWE megastar made a bold style change for a heel turn—Stone Cold Steve Austin famously shaved his head after ditching his “Stunning” Steve persona in WCW, and Kurt Angle used a hair vs. hair match as a storyline device to embrace the bald look.

If Cena really is going all-in on this reinvention, could a freshly shaved head be the final piece of the puzzle? And if it happens, will fans embrace the new look, or will it be a tough adjustment? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
