John Cena just proved once again that he lives what he promotes — literally. After recently becoming the official voice of Honda, the 17-time world champion is now playing the role of the ultimate nephew.
The Leader of Cenation took to Twitter and revealed that he gifted his Aunt Eileen a brand-new Honda CR-V for her 80th birthday. Not only did he surprise her with the car, but he also gave a shoutout to the Honda team that helped make it all happen.
“Another big thank you to Mike and his crew of @HondaStratham for making my Aunt Eileen’s 80th birthday so special and bringing in the holiday season!!”
The move comes just weeks after Cena officially announced he was partnering with Honda as their new brand voice. In that tweet, shared back in November, the WWE legend also revealed he was driving their latest model, the Honda Prelude.
“Yes, it is as fun as it looks. Excited to drive the new Prelude and to be the voice of @Honda”
For those keeping track, Cena’s no stranger to the car world. He’s a hardcore collector with more than 20 high-performance rides under his belt, including a 1969 MGC GT and a 2020 Honda Civic Type-R. And with his eyes now set on Honda’s upcoming Zero Series Saloon EV, it looks like he’s fully committed to the brand — on and off the screen.
Now, Cena’s taking that partnership beyond the showroom floor and straight to family—because when you’re passionate about something, you share it and there is no better way to do that than giving your aunt a Honda for her milestone birthday.
