Just hours before stepping into the ring one last time at WrestleMania 41, John Cena took to Twitter with a message that hit WWE fans right in the heart.
“More than 20 years of #WrestleMania memories. Wins, losses, setbacks and accomplishments. The last time is now. Tonight.”
The tweet comes ahead of Cena’s showdown with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes—marking not just the end of a heated storyline, but the final WrestleMania match of Cena’s career. After turning heel and laying out Rhodes at Elimination Chamber, Cena has promised to not only take the title but, in his own words, “ruin professional wrestling forever.”
This will be Cena’s fourth WrestleMania main event and his first since 2013. And while the stakes are sky-high for Cody Rhodes, who’s fighting to defend his family legacy and title reign, the emotional gravity of Cena’s possible last ride has fans glued to their screens.
Whether Cena walks out with his 17th World Championship or not, the moment feels bigger than just the belt—it’s about closing one of the most iconic chapters in WWE history.
