The April 29, 2025, episode of WWE NXT delivered another night of impactful storytelling and intense in-ring action on The CW, as the brand continues building toward NXT Battleground. Despite a strong lineup, the show saw a slight dip in both total viewership and its key demo rating.
According to Programming Insider, WWE NXT drew 674,000 viewers, down (-1.8%) from 686,000 the week prior on April 22. In the 18–49 demographic, the show earned a 0.15 rating — a drop (-11.8%) from last week’s 0.17.
The April 29th edition of NXT saw Joe Hendry make his appearance and call out Trick Williams but he ended up getting brutally beaten down by Darkstate instead, something that no one could have expected.
That’s not all as Meta-Four broke up as they decided to go their separate ways, marking the end of an era. This and many other things happened that kept fans engaged throughout the night.
